The Miss Grape Trunk 16 Waterproof is a 16-liter waterproof handlebar bag developed specifically for use with the Miss Grape ILCOSO handlebar support system. Designed for bikepacking, gravel and multi-day adventures, it combines substantial storage capacity with a remarkably low 179-gram weight.

Unlike conventional handlebar bags that strap directly against the handlebar and cables, the Trunk 16 is designed around the ILCOSO support, allowing the load to be carried in a dedicated front-mounted system. The result is a clean, purpose-built bikepacking setup with generous room for overnight equipment. The ILCOSO support is sold separately and is not included with the bag.

Designed Specifically for the ILCOSO System

The Trunk 16 was created as an ideal companion for Miss Grape's modular ILCOSO handlebar bag support. Rather than being a standalone traditional handlebar roll, it integrates into a system designed to provide dedicated support for front luggage.

This makes the Trunk 16 especially attractive for riders building a more structured gravel or bikepacking setup and wanting to keep a large front load securely positioned.

16-Liter Capacity for Overnight Adventures

With a maximum capacity of 16 liters, the Trunk 16 provides enough room for the bulkier equipment required on overnight and multi-day rides.

Miss Grape specifically designed it to accommodate gear such as a sleeping bag, sleeping mat, inflatable pillow, clothing and additional food. This allows riders to reserve smaller frame and top-tube bags for tools, electronics, nutrition and other items that need to remain readily accessible while riding.

The bag measures 18 cm in diameter, with an adjustable width ranging from approximately 34 cm to 70 cm, allowing the roll closure to adapt to the amount of equipment being carried.

Dual Roll-Top Access

A particularly useful feature of the Trunk 16 is its two roll-top openings, providing access from either end of the bag.

The roll closures create a secure seal while also allowing the overall width of the bag to be adjusted according to the load. Miss Grape specifically highlights these dual roll closures as part of the bag's waterproof design, helping keep equipment protected from rain and moisture during demanding adventures.

Completely Waterproof Construction

Miss Grape officially describes the Trunk 16 as having a completely waterproof construction. The main body uses black 210-denier nylon coated with phthalate-free PVC, producing a durable barrier against rain and moisture.

The material is also designed to provide very high mechanical resistance and tear resistance, important for equipment intended for repeated loading, rough gravel roads and extended bikepacking use.

Combined with the dual roll-top closure system, the Trunk 16 provides a straightforward waterproof storage compartment without relying on a conventional zipper.

Exceptionally Lightweight for 16 Liters

Despite its large storage capacity, the Trunk 16 weighs only 179 grams.

That gives it an excellent capacity-to-weight ratio for riders trying to keep a bikepacking setup light. Bulky but lightweight equipment can be carried at the handlebar while minimizing the weight penalty normally associated with a large front bag.

The adjustable roll-top format also means the bag does not need to remain fully extended when carrying a smaller load.

The Trunk 16 Waterproof is made in Italy using Miss Grape's technical materials, customized polypropylene straps and nylon hardware.

It is certified according to REACH EC Regulation No. 1097/2006, continuing Miss Grape's focus on lightweight, durable bikepacking equipment manufactured in Italy.
