The Prologo Predator//01TT is a purpose-built high-performance saddle engineered for riders chasing maximum aerodynamic efficiency in time trial and triathlon applications. Developed using CFD simulation and refined through wind tunnel testing, the Predator//01TT combines an ultra-compact 110mm platform, integrated carbon structure, aggressive V-shape geometry, and a full-length PAS pressure-relief channel in a saddle weighing just 132 grams.

Aerodynamics Developed with CFD and Wind Tunnel Testing

The Predator//01TT was designed around one primary objective: reducing aerodynamic drag while allowing the rider to maintain an extreme forward position.

Prologo used Computational Fluid Dynamics during development before validating the final shape in the wind tunnel. The saddle's sculpted side wings shield the rail and seatpost clamp from direct airflow, while the pronounced rear profile helps guide turbulent air coming off the rider more cleanly toward the back of the bike.

Ultra-Compact 110mm V-Shape Platform

At only 110 mm wide, the Predator//01TT is dramatically narrower than a conventional road saddle. Its ergonomic flat V-shape is specifically engineered to encourage maximum forward pelvic rotation — exactly the position required for efficient time trial and triathlon riding.

Although the complete saddle measures 260 mm long, the actual padded contact section is only 170 mm, creating an extremely compact riding platform optimized for aggressive aero positioning.

50mm Nose – More Support in the Aero Position

The 50mm-wide nose provides a generous contact surface for riders who spend extended periods seated near the front of the saddle.

That additional support allows the rider to produce power while remaining rotated forward over the bottom bracket, helping maintain an aerodynamic position without relying on an excessively narrow traditional saddle nose.

Integrated Carbon Plate – Maximum Power Transfer

Instead of relying on a conventional round or oval rail system, the Predator//01TT uses a patented integrated carbon structure.

The carbon plate creates a much larger interface between the saddle and mounting system, increasing stiffness and improving the connection between rider, saddle, and bicycle. The result is a highly direct platform designed to transfer power efficiently while improving feedback and stability during hard efforts.

PAS Channel – Pressure Relief Across the Entire Contact Area

An exceptionally wide PAS – Perineal Area System channel runs through the full length of the padded support zone.

This open-channel design reduces pressure peaks on soft tissue and helps improve comfort when the pelvis is aggressively rotated forward — particularly important during long time trials and triathlon efforts where the rider may remain in essentially the same position for extended periods.

Enhanced EVA Padding – Support Without Excess Bulk

Prologo uses increased EVA padding across the contact area to balance the uncompromising aerodynamic shape with meaningful rider support.

The cushioning is designed to help absorb pressure while maintaining a firm, controlled platform, allowing the rider to remain stable without sacrificing the direct feel required for high-output racing.

Modular Construction – Performance with Serviceability

The Predator//01TT is also designed as a modular system. The integrated mounting plate and saddle base can be separated, allowing individual components to be replaced, repaired, or recycled rather than requiring replacement of the complete saddle.

For a highly specialized racing component, this modular architecture offers an unusually practical approach to long-term ownership.

3D-Printed Titanium Mounting Clamp Included

Unlike conventional saddles, the Predator//01TT uses its own dedicated mounting interface and includes a 3D-printed titanium seatpost clamp.

The supplied clamp is compatible with a wide selection of modern TT and triathlon seatposts, including systems used on bikes from Cervélo, Colnago, Cube, Factor, Scott, Wilier, Bianchi, Lapierre, Ridley and others. Compatibility should still be confirmed before installation because this is not a standard round-rail saddle.
