Designed for improved performance and traction across muddy sections and on more rugged, rocky terrains, the Challenge Gravine XP is designed to deliver. Featuring a more aggressive tread pattern, this tire pushes the boundaries of gravel further, allowing for totally new adventures.

With the growing demand for more robust Gravel tires, Challenge has developed a new process for their handmade construction, adding Xtra Protection (XP) for more endurance rides on rougher terrains. This tire is designed to take you places others can't. Starting with CORAZZA ARMOR SILVER for enhanced sidewall protection, the Gravine XP also includes CORAZZA ARMOR GOLD, a special layer of a tightly woven material reinforcing it even further.

Taking inspiration from their cyclocross designs, Challenge increased the height of the lugs in comparison to other gravel designs, for enhanced grip through muddy sections and over more rocky terrains, with careful detail to the shoulder design for excellent cornering control. It also features an open-tread design for improved mud/dirt shedding and self-cleaning. Combined with the fast-rolling center-line for speed, the result is an overall more aggressive, versatile and dependable ride on multiple rugged terrains, in differing conditions.

• SMARTplus COMPOUND - Special higher durometer natural SMARTplus rubber provides reduced wear and enhanced durability while retaining its natural properties and offering improved shock-absorption, better control, and reduced rolling resistance.
• GANZO PPS - The GANZO PPS (puncture protection system) features a tight weave, multi-component layer of narrow, special fabric placed between the rubber tread and the casing.
• CHAFER ARAMID BEAD PROTECTION STRIP - Bead protection outer strip that enhances tire longevity against the rim by reducing the effects of chafing or rubbing against the rim's bead hooks.
• CORAZZA ARMOR SILVER - A double, comfortably wide 260TPI polyester casing wrapped around the bead, that delivers maximum sidewall protection.
• CORAZZA ARMOR GOLD - XP range exclusive, Corazza Armor Gold increases the tire's puncture protection and robustness further, by including an additional Bead-to-Bead layer of tightly woven material.
