FFWD RYOT44 Team Tech Tubular Wheelset

Where teams are more and more experimenting with a tubeless setup, some wheel brands are not putting effort in the development of tubular wheels or even stop producing them.

Due to a close relation with many (professional) teams FFWD has learned that the tubular wheels remain popular and are the preferred choice for most teams. As believers of tubular wheels and its benefits for teams FFWD will continue the development and production of this category.

Based on the feedback of professionals!
Two years ago a development proces started with Team Direct Energie and in specific classics specialist Niki Terpstra. Following the team in the recognition of the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix the goal was to develop a set that would have all it needs on any terrain and in any condition.
The new tubular rim profile is based on the feedback from the fieldtest together with the aero tests done in the development of the LAW rim shape. Therefore the rims carry the label 'TEAM Tech'.

The new tubular rims are optimised for minimal 25mm tires and also work perfectly with 28mm tires. Both sizes have a perfect airflow around the tire and a smooth transition to the rim to get aerodynamic advantage. The ability to fit wider tires also brings flexibility for teams to choose the right material for challenging conditions such as cobbled roads.

White hexagon style decals
The RYOT family has been introduced with a new FFWD decal design. Based on the hexagons which come from the SynergySix profile all new models got a spectacular new look. Where all new models are only available in black the 'TEAM Tech' wheels will have white logo's to ensure visibility in the races.

As riders always require the best material and their mechanics look for the most durable parts these wheels are only available with the DT240 hubs.

Going off-road
The RYOT44 is also very well suitable to use as cyclocross wheel set. The wider rims make it an even better fit to glue wider cyclocross tires up to 33mm.
